He consistently surprises me on how big a piece of shit he is. He could have just said it was because it was a better business environment but he had to go the shitty route and blame trans people.

Lol Texas is currently dealing with armed mobs threatening the repair workers trying to turn power on for their shitty grid that breaks twice a year.

      Better business environment lmao.

Short sighted greed isn’t better for anyone, including the greedy.

Essentially lower taxes and politicians who are easier to bribe. Considering that Musk is also CEO of a company with big battery production and another one that does some solar panel production, I’m not sure a shitty power grid would be too much of an issue for SpaceX.

… Right, but the armed mobs are an example of how unimpeded greed has unintended and unpredictable consequences.

Chaos is not a better business environment. It’s just not.

Businesses need infrastructure and stability and regulation to thrive.

Republicans are just fuckin stupid and greedy. It’s not a system that actually works. For anyone in the long term.

His trans daughter hates him so much that she not only officially changed her surname from Musk in court, she had it put into the court record that she disowns him. That’s not even a law thing, she just wanted it officially noted.

Imagine what sort of absolutely horrific father he must be to disown one of the world’s richest men? She could have kept her mouth shut, waited for him to die, and hoped she got some money out of it, but he’s that terrible.

I actually think his transbigotry was exacerbated by Grimes dating Chelsea Manning to get back at him right after their breakup. Grimes also took a picture reading The Communist Manifesto at this time. This was a huge public embarrassment for him.

I’m going to add I think Grimes was being purely performative here to make Musk angry. Poor Chelsea Manning, a better human than either Musk or Grimes by a million billion percent, she’s a woman with integrity and bravery. No wonder Grimes picked her to upset Elon - Manning is something real and talented and authentic, everything Musk isnt.

I don’t think Elon Musk cares much about his children to be honest, which is why he treats them so so badly.

Yeah musk wanted to believe he’s persecuted for standing up for his beliefs. Ms. Manning was subjected to cruel and unusual punishment by the United States government for doing so.

And yeah I really think it’s a combination of the two. Musk is deeply insecure. It shows in every aspect of his behavior. In fact, I’m extremely grateful I’m me and not him. Hell, you can hear the damage solitary confinement did when Chelsea Manning speaks, and I’d still rather be her than Musk. It must be horrible to have infinite money, incredible power, and no idea why you’re so miserable, especially when those things contribute to your misery. You cannot buy real human connection or relatability, well not without losing your wealth.

I see a lot of wealthy men through work, and it’s their hubris imo that makes them miserable. It feeds their narcissism, confirmation bias, and survivorship bias. Thus, you get EXTREMELY weird convictions that are not based in reality. But there’s no one to keep them in check. They feel like, “Well, I have millions of dollars, which is obviously because I’m special. I’m special because I’m the smartest guy ever. I should never consider anyone else’s thoughts because I’m the one who got me here.” And bam, that’s the basis of the anti-education movement in the wealthier people. And if they show even a shred of humility, it’s seen as “bad.” Lol, we are fucked

I agree that we should use people’s preferred pronouns. I know it’s difficult to use neopronouns but it’s so seldom an issue let’s just get on with life.

Elon has protested being identified as a cisgender male, and declared that ‘prosecute/Fauci’ should be used.

Prosecute has also mentioned that prosecute doesn’t really like people making a big deal about pronouns so let’s just move on.

Honestly I’d be happy to examine my behavior, because my support for the trans community is real. I don’t think I’m on trial but if you want me to provide evidence I can.

I don’t agree with the strategy of the previous poster which was to intentionally mislabel Elon. But I think it is appropriate to ironically adopt someone’s insincerely adopted pronouns. That said, I’d be happy to read an explanation of why this is a bad strategy.

              Cheers.

In general, I don’t think it’s “not transphobic” to use transphobic rhetoric. So that includes using fake pronouns including neopronouns and/or misgendering people.
