      My first PC was a Model 3. No HD, no floppy.

      Tape drive.

      I don’t really miss it

        I used play around with assembly language on a TRS-80. That was waaaay faster than python on 2.5 GHz multi core modern machine. Kind of cool.

          Well yeah, because it’s Python. Use C/C++, the ancient languages of the Gods. If you can think it, you can make it. It’s basically almost assembly.

      Ah, the fun of copying the Mandelbrot code from the book, running the program, and waiting only 16 hours for the image to finish. Fun times!
