As every commenter on this type of post said: If they arent mentally fit to drive, they shouldnt drive.

I will not be kind to people who fuck around with two tonne machines.

Like no one uses their blinker anymore! It’s such a habit for me, I’ll turn it on when exiting out the driveway and we are the last house on the block! My husband makes fun of me when I do it, but it’s just such an automatic thing for me. Like seriously, I’d rather drive surrounded by semis because at least they are courteous and signal lane changes.

ETA: It’s like everyone said fuck it and forgot the rules of the road. They’re so fucking simple too.

Two things, one is a quote from my father and one is from George Carlin.

“If you don’t get angry while driving you’re probably the problem”

“Anyone driving slower than you is an idiot and anyone driving faster than you is a maniac”

Me too. I’m the go to therapist for my friends and frequently get accused of being too understanding of the ‘other side’ (not in a obtuse way, even when I’m explaining situations I have been in). And then I throw V’s and fingers and yell out my passenger side window when you’re an obnoxious jerk forgetting to indicate or sitting in the middle of a lane, without hazards, blocking traffic. God my BP is rising just typing this comment.

I’m very glad my daughter is now old enough that I can call people fucking assholes in the car when they’re being fucking assholes in their cars.

Well, to be fair, I don’t care what you’re going through; if you run a stop sign and nearly T-bone me, then fuck you.

      Hmm

To return the shopping cart is an easy, convenient task and one which we all recognize as correct, the appropriate thing to do

to be fair, productivity is divorced from wellbeing under the current system (i.e., automation lowers wages/ removes jobs), and so creating work for an employee (i.e., the Keynesian “digging holes in the ground and filling them back up”) is not an insane position.

Yeah, I’ve automated parts of my job for at least the last 15 years and never have I showed a boss or colleague, if they knew I’d either get more work from the boss or a colleague would steal it when they leave and soon every fucker would be using it

Except it’s not just creating work. That shopping cart is now potentially in a position where someone v isn’t expecting it and could run into it with their car.

It could also be subject to high wind, or rolling down an incline, damaging a vehicle.

I also frequently see them take up multiple parking spots, making it really inconvenient for a person trying to find a spot at a busy establishment.

    Feeling called out here!

At least they can’t hear me cuss at them, but that might not make it better.

And this is why i avoid traffic :)

Very rare to get angry when walking, biking, or using public transport. Generally it just makes me happier.

I take it you’ve never been to Amsterdam? Lots of screaming and bell ringing to get the hell out of the locals way 😂

Do you live in a big city? In Manhattan I’m constantly angry while I’m outside my home.

Well i mean you can’t avoid traffic in manhattan so that just proves my thesis.

Where i live you can just ignore the roads 90% of the time if you’re not in one yourself.
