The “no bigotry” rule gets enforced for lemm.ee users, also when posting on other instances, which is what everyone on hexbear would agree with would be a defederation-worthy offence. As far as politics are concerned hexbear is quite diverse, from tankies to anarchists, disagreeing about a great many of things. Personally I don’t get how the anarchists there can mentally endure sharing an instance with a counter-revolutionary cesspit like [email protected] but then, hey, it’s not like I’m about to tell them what to do.
