Authorities said Monday they are investigating a burglary at a Donald Trump campaign office in suburban Virginia, circulating surveillance video of a man inside the building with what appears to be a full backpack.

The break-in was reported late Sunday at the campaign office in Ashburn, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

The building, in a suburban office park about 30 miles west of downtown Washington, also serves as the headquarters of the Virginia 10th District Republican Committee.

“It is rare to have the office of any political campaign or party broken into,” Sheriff Mike Chapman said in the statement. “We are determined to identify the suspect, investigate why it happened, and determine what may have been taken as well as what may have been left behind.”

Yet another attempt to stay in the news cycle.

I won’t put it past trump campaign to set up break in at their own office just so they can blame antifa, immigrants, Joe, Kamala, cat ladies, libtards, FBI, open border, drag shows, LGBTQ, wokeism etc.

This exactly. They never think anything they don’t say, there’s no campaign strategy to take, much less from a remote office.

Dude wanted a laptop. End of news cycle.

Are there more instances these days of anti-right-wing crimes? It seemed like this was almost exclusively right-wing antics doing crimes against the left-wing.

I don’t. I’m asking so people more familiar might shed some light on the topic

When you say ‘are there more instances…’ you appear to imply that this case is known clearly to be the left attacking the right.

            “more instances these days”.

I’m not asking for other examples. I’m asking if there is any sort of trend.

              Just Asking Questions

Just asking questions (also known as JAQing off, or as emojis: “🤔🤔🤔”[1]) is a way of attempting to make wild accusations acceptable (and hopefully not legally actionable) by framing them as questions rather than statements. It shifts the burden of proof to one’s opponent; rather than laboriously having to prove that all politicians are reptoid scum, one can pull out one single odd piece of evidence and force the opponent to explain why the evidence is wrong.

I’m not looking for an argument. If you’d like to say “No, not that I’m aware of”, then that’s perfectly fine, lol

Well, the shooter was a right-winger doing crimes against his own wing. This could be similar in that way.

Has that been made conclusive? Last I heard, he was a registered Republican who also made a donation to a left-wing group.

He could’ve been someone on the political left who wanted to reduce Trump’s chance at being the Republican candidate by registering as Republican to vote against him.

One old $15 donation doesn’t cancel our all the rest of his life, including the political stance he displayed at school.

To be fair though, his goal with the shooting seems to have been more about getting attention than anything else.

including the political stance he displayed at school

This is news to me; that’s why I asked about him. Last I’d read, they couldn’t find anything about his political ideologies aside from his being a registered Republican and that one political donation. Guess I’ll have to look him up again to see what’s been discovered! Lol

EDIT: According to Wikipedia, his political affiliation still seems unclear.

His donation was made the same day that President Biden was sworn into office. According to the Progressive Turnout Project, he made the donation in response to an email about “tuning into” the inauguration; he was unsubscribed from the group’s mailing list in 2022.

Aside from these details, it doesn’t seem like there’s anything new

We don’t know what this is yet. Other than a b and e. Even if this was anti right wing crime one also needs to keep in mind that they’ve made Justice against the right wing a crime as well.

When Justice becomes impossible violence becomes inevitable.
