Not me.
I don’t particularly care if a band is Christian if the music is good. Firstly, a sizable chunk of the lyrics of bands I listen to are fictional or based on fiction; why be upset about one mythology and not any others? Secondly, I enjoy a lot of baroque music; good luck getting away from Christianity centered music there.
Here, have some more baroque music.
I haven’t done it yet, but I’ve made a mock-up for a custom print t-shirt that has Bach’s picture on the front, and on the back is written “Bach is better than your favorite band.”
It’s funny because it’s true.
Zao was kinda Christian at some point I think? I like them
Yep. Especially Becoming the Archetype (first 4 albums), all of Death Therapy, and a lot of Project 86 (specifically their last double album Omni was getting very heavy for them).
Destroy the Runner, specifically like their album Saints.
There was a band called EastWest that had an album Hope in Anguish. Not sure I’d call it metal, and they were not accomplished high production, but it was still pretty good.
In spite of my issues with religion and my childhood, I still listen to most of those bands many many years later cause the music is just excellent, especially the first 3 I mentioned.
Demon Hunters still going and still good.
Fathomage makes pretty good stuff.
Does Sympathy count? Technical Death Metal that absolutely slays.
Tourniquet Deliverance Theocracy Narnia Final axe Boarders
Good stuff
Saviour Machine!
I used to, really enjoyed Demon Hunter, Seventh Avenue and a few other, but at some point I got bored of it and don’t listen to it anymore unless it appears in my shuffle.
To be honest have not heard of most of those. But I do listen to ‘Fit for a King’ , ‘Convictions’ and ‘Confessions of a Traitor’. I will take a look at the ones you mentioned

I have for years. All the bands you listed, As I Lay Dying (their albums all the way up to An Ocean Between. I listened to then after that too, but couldn’t really call then Christian metal at that point), In the Midst of Lions, O Sleeper, and August Burns Red (not strictly a Christian metal band, but at least “Alternative”).
