Dominion will probably be happy to settle like last time. Don’t count on them making a dent in any of these “news” organizations.

If you see a guy walk into a building with a can of gasoline, a bunch of matches, and a blow torch, and leave with none of them, and the building is on fire, and the guy stands around and smirks and doesn’t call the fire department, and runs from the police, and says, “Some brave awesome totally ripped dude with a huge cock burned that building down!”

While you may not have any evidence, it’s pretty reasonable to make an inference.

Not really, they took a big payout and Fox is doing fine. Very disappointing outcome tbh.

Edit: Downvoters, lying to yourself doesn’t change the reality that Tucker and Fox are largely unaffected by this. Tucker can still spew lies all over the internet and Fox barely noticed a drop in profit for the year. I don’t understand why we’re suddenly okay with large corporations only getting a slap on the wrist.

Of course not, that’s ridiculous and you know it.

This case could’ve easily been used to challenge the previous finding that they had no obligation to tell the truth as an entertainment company, but Dominion chose money instead. If you’re happy with them getting a slap on the wrist as opposed to a real chance of forcing a change in operations at Fox then that’s on you. I choose to see the reality in that Dominion chose greed over doing something meaningful in court when they had a rock solid case.

You think almost $800 million is a slap on the wrist?

Yeah Dominion should have turned the largest ever defamation settlement on principle. Makes complete sense.

He’s really not though, he’s just on another platform doing the same thing. He’s not actually suffering any consequences for his actions and the person taking his spot isn’t any better.

He’s got a fraction of the reach than he used to and Fox still needs to pay out that crazy contract. Big Ls all around imo.

It won’t work, fuck around and find out. Hopefully they pay similarly to Fox News.

“Alright folks, now just to note, Newsmax has accepted the election results as legal and final,”

Not exactly exuding fair and unbiased journalism there, “NewsMax”. You accept the results of an election? Your job is not to accept anything, it’s to report on it.

This is like, I accept that mommy’s not going to buy me a Ninja Turtle toy today but I’m still going to be a little brat and pout about it and make her life suck for the rest of the day.

Accepting an election result is like accepting the Lord into your heart. It’s a personal choice that everyone makes individually.

This way we can pick and choose from reality to justify anything else that may, or may not, be convenient. Truth is a liberal cultural Marxist lie that makes people eat babies in pizza basements.

“Legal and final” are weasel words. Plenty of things that are rigged are legal. Take, uh, the law for a gazillion examples.

This comes off as continuing to fuel the narrative while also trying to slap a “please don’t sue us again” sticker on it.

What’s ironic is that despite this, the alt right looooves to appeal to laws, even blatantly unjust ones. They love to say you should accept all laws regardless of if you agree with them… except the ones they disagree with, of course.

This was their wink and nod to the retards that actually watch Newsmax pretending they don’t believe the election results but have to say it for legal reasons, they saw how badly Fox fucked up and didn’t want to receive the same type of reaming from Dominion

Dominion only has 250 employees. I wouldn’t call that a big corporation. So I’d say it’s fine to root like hell!

And I suppose during the actual ‘interview’ they repeatedly pushed back on Trump, telling him the election was legitimate and that he was lying to say otherwise. Right?
