Yes! So…its the perfect time to put the crazy, putin fellating, liar in office as opposed to the smart, clearthinking, tough, experienced lady, right?

Neither are good options, as the only correct move for the US is to withdraw from the region and accept whatever refugees come out of it as recompense for enabling this conflict.

The smart, clearthinking, tough, experienced lady whose administration has helped escalate things this far through constantly helping the aggressor igniting the entire region with weapons and military support, committing countless of warcrimes, being plausibly accused of genocide, condemned for its illegal annexation and occupation of stolen land.

Truly the administration that has been critical in supporting the escalations leading to possibly the start of WW3 is the perfect administration to continue. After all, who doesn’t want more dead Arabs?

what exactly do you think Trump would have been doing if he were in office? Probably would have been extorting Palestine as he did with Ukraine.

So how would you describe what has happened to Palestinians over the past 70 years and in particular since October 8 ?

Neither the Reps nor the Dems currently in power are worthy representatives. Except the few powerless people in these parties that tried to prevent it, they all pushed for the same thing and they all support the fundamentally same strategy. Unconditional support for imperialism and systematic destabilization and destruction of the world outside their direct allies. The Bushs, Clintons, Obama, Trump, Biden, Harris and their lackeys all brought violent murder and ever more sophisticated murder machines.

How does that abolish the other Presidents and their administrations from how they are supporting genocide, ethnic cleansing, settler colonialism, illegal occupation and annexation of land?

Ever since the Oslo accords ended with a Likud fanatic with possible Mossad ties murdering Yitzhak Rabin, the US has put up a charade of supporting peace, while factually aiding Israel in removing any possibility for a peace through its violent expansion. Now they have moved up the notch to genocide and trying to escalate the region into a war, possibly becoming a global war. And Biden/Harris are supporting them in that just as Trump claims he would support them.

Trump is just saying the quiet part out loud. In terms of policy the only thing he could do more than the current administration is directly have US troops help in the slaughter of Palestinians.

well firstly one of my points above was that trump was the only president in history who made the US’s official position as supporting Israel’s settling Palestine.

as for the other stuff you mentioned, i never said any president should be absolved of anything. my point this whole time has been that no matter how bad you think Kamala will be in regards to palestine, trump will be even worse. it’s not a binary “good” or “bad” situation.

I agree that it is not a binary situation. Which is why it is crucial for people to break free of understanding their political choices as voting one of two candidates handed to them once every four years.

And that is why the whole “if you are not for Harris, you are a secret Trump supporter hurr durr” needs to end. US people are gaslighting themselves to become supporters of the most heinous crimes, when these are supported by both parties.

Now Israel will drag the US into another endless war in the Middle East.

Dude. I was at the dog park and sat down next to a friendly, hip-looking boomer. We were talking about dog names and he said he studied Latin in high school. He name-dropped some Roman poets and I thought, “What an interesting guy!” It took about 60 seconds for him to say we’re living in biblical times, Israel will topple the Muslim rulers to reclaim the kingdom, and “the West is begging Russia to nuke us.”

These people are absolutely obsessed with the death of everyone on earth. No wonder they find the most delusional sickos to represent them in government.

    Very weird-

Shortly after the US statement was released, the Israeli military said it had not yet identified an aerial threat from Iran.

“As of this moment, Israel does not perceive imminent threat from Iran,” Israel Defense Forces spokesperson Daniel Hagari said.

You would think this would be a propaganda win for Israel whether it was true or not, so you would think they would just say it was true. It’s not like the IDF has a problem with lying.

    So I am confused here.

Outside vs. inside Propaganda. Netanyahus popularity soared, as he managed to promise more bloodshed and more land to take. Telling people they are at imminent danger as they dance in the streets, could strain this newfound popularity.

The same things were said by the Ukrainian government just before the very obvious Soviet Russian invasion began.
I believe at the time it was generally accepted that it was to keep the Ukrainian citizens calm because having to deal with civil unrest in the form of widespread panic would only serve to complicate the incoming invasion response.

The US intelligence apparatus had better information which is really no surprise. The US has satellites that can count the hairs on someone’s head let alone see missiles being moved around, fueled, and / or prepared for launch. Israel doesn’t have those, or at least not nearly as many of them as the United States does.

Naw, there are physical limits significantly above that. US reconaissance satellites do get pretty close to the theoretical limits, though.

It came up back when Trump was in office and tweeted some satellite picture from one of his briefings at full resolution, was in the news for a bit in that he’d inadvertently exposed satellite capabilities.

            https://www.forbes.com/sites/jonathanocallaghan/2019/09/01/trump-accidentally-revealed-the-amazing-resolution-of-u-s-spy-satellites/

Based on the resolution of the photo Trump tweeted, though, it appears USA 224 has a resolution of at least 10 centimeters, if not better as Trump appears to have taken an image of a printout.

That being said, no disagreement on the broader point, that the US probably has a pretty good idea of what Iran is doing with its ballistic missiles.

I have to chuckle, I didn’t think anyone would take my comment about “count the hairs on someone’s head” so literally! You are correct though, there are no satellites with that kind of resolution. We have…other toys…for that. :)

Netanyahu would probably rather his people be actually hurt, so that it could bolster popularity of ongoing war.

When nothing happens, and security manages to intercept these things - people start questioning if they’re actually in any kind of danger. Occasionally leaders have allowed things to happen to their citizens, in order to garner acceptance for going to war.
