In the hours following former President Donald Trump’s election victory, Google searches related to 4B — a fringe South Korean feminist movement that made a name for itself in the mid to late 2010s — surged in the United States.

Who is “them?” Are you somehow unaffected by politics? Do you vote?

What they are missing is that the only reason 4B can be a political statement, is if it was never really okay for women to use their bodies as they would like in the first place.

Asking us to have children, questioning our decisions with our bodies, is inherently the thing we are rising against. If they didn’t do that, then refusing to have sex with them would be apolitical. It’s only political because men make it so by acting entitled to us and our bodies.

Is it political to cross a street at a crosswalk? No, it’s what everyone does. It’s expected. It’s only political if you do something like protest by standing in traffic.

That there is any outcry at all from men shows the movement is necessary.

Yep “we will turn Republican if we don’t get sex!”. No, you were a weirdo that hid it well.

I’m not sure about how effective or long lasting it will be, but I can’t feel outraged because a woman doesn’t want to have sex, regardless of the reason.

Are you saying most men on the left secretly want to control women? Is that why you think Trump won?

Most men on the left? No, most men. That’s what a patriarchy is. Ask a man if he’s a feminist - it’s about that many men who are feminist phobic who reflexively think they are entitled to controlling women.

I think this election was stolen and Trump is a foreign asset to Russia.

You sound like you’ve been hurt. If so, I’m sorry. But don’t let them fool you, the real war is the class war. Not this stupid gender war. If you think it’s easy to be a middle or lower class man in this society you’re terribly mistaken.

Yes, I’ve been hurt by my rights being taken away. If it’s not a gender war then your gender should stop declaring war on ours by taking away our rights.

That’s fair, and I’m not asking you to. I’m trying to point out that 4B was effective in Korea because most women supported it. Half of women in America are conservative and aren’t interested in 4B, and for that reason it won’t have the effect you’re hoping for.

I’m not saying anything about it having any effect. What I’m saying is that ultimately

          1. Nice guys that turn bad because they are denied sex weren’t good on the first place. Just pretenders.
          2. Any/most movements intend to attract the attention of those outside the movement, in this case indecisive and Republicans. If you think those cannot be persuaded by any means, I’m sorry to inform you 2028 will also be a Republican landslide.
          3. Ultimately, it’s a personal action movement. They aren’t blocking the roads to other peoples cars, or throwing paint to art. They just decided to not have sex/relationships. If a person decides they don’t want to have sex because three earth orbits the sun, they have the right to do so.

I honestly think the US is fucked, and now they are going to go full indoctrination and propaganda with their friend musk (and meta/all other social network that will follow). At this point, either accept the fact, move to another country or go nuclear. It’s past stickers and speeches.
