This little monster chews cables. So, I ran power cords through water hoses.
FOUL TARNISHED!

Playing as a Lord…
Hi Margit!
I spent a good 30 seconds trying to figure out if you had aquarium air pump wall outlets in your place before I read the text of your post. But now I have an idea for a new house feature to sell people with more money than sense… and, I guess, people with a lot of aquariums.
hey look, it’s the person who helped me figure out Voyager tags!
I know this because you have a big red “testing” next to your name lol

Hi from one brain cell to one brain cell
Another option would be to smear a bit of hot sauce or mentholated petroleum jelly (Vicks VapoRub) on the cords. That might be a better choice, as it should help train against chewing on cords altogether.
They actually make sprays for chewing. They’re usually super bitter but some are spicy hot. The spicy hot ones you have to make sure that you remove their water source because otherwise they’ll learn that they can drink water to remove the heat and then you’ll have a cat that craves mexican food.
Meanwhile my cat chews the tubes for my nebulizer.
Maybe you need a nice big houseplant to put in the way. Nontoxic to cats, of course. Looks like not a lot of light there, so maybe a Cast Iron Plant.
Hi Margit!
Margit’s expression has put a smile on my face, thank you for sharing, internet stranger
Hi Margit
hi
What’s the wall tube for?
This tube is the water hose that covers the power cable
Thank you. That raises new questions. I have heard of Power-over-Ethernet but never water over power.
Does it prevent curious pets from biting the wires?
I need to know too, OP plez

Ze Germans had you covered.
I think this is better for my case. Unless he figures out how to bite the 2.4GHz radio signals of Bluetooth.
