“Why would the Democrats do this?”

“Prayers for our President fighting so hard for us!!! Hope it pans out soon!!!”

      “I don’t really follow politics.”

Also, reading into it, it appears this person is a state employee so let’s see how far their paycheck goes when elmo comes to make things more “efficient”

Maryland’s a blue state, so they’ll likely be insulated from the worst consequences.

Depends. Maryland is home for a ton of federal workers. Lots of money on the table which trickles down to other businesses

They’ll use any excuse they can to cut federal funding to blue states, to force them to adhere to new rules and regulations. Not sure how insulated they really are.

Don’t worry, if that happens, they’ll just blame the evil Democrats in the state for doing it to them. Perfect blame distribution.

Maryland is a corporate blue state. The beatings will continue until workers stop protesting.

At the meeting for employees with concerns about the ‘efficiency’ drive

Elon: “ok, anyone with the time to come to a meeting like this is clearly not busy enough, you’re fired”

the insurance company denied my last refill. i went to the doctor to get different meds. had to pay a $50 copay just to be told none of the options are covered and the cheapest one is $150 per week.

my computer died. i went to buy a new laptop and the cheapest one was $900!

i can’t watch more than three hours of streaming before my internet cuts out. the company wants $50 for another 20 gigabytes and that doesn’t even last three days before it runs out too.

my homeowners insurance shot up another $200 a month.

gas is cheap! but the mechanic gave last rites to my car and i cannot afford another one. i had been taking the bus, but mta cut back service. it’s a 2 mile walk to the nearest stop and it cost three bucks to ride it now.

the dollar store should be called greedy dollars for how high the prices are now. i’ve been digging through trash dumpsters behind the truck stop for food. so yummy and no blacks or gays or homeless have found this one yet. i’m glad the food pantry had to close from lack of funding. those people don’t deserve it.

Remember Elon Musks promise of “hardship” for American working class (as opposed to whatever this is now) once he engages in making efficiency cuts.
