    He’ll lose the civil case for wrongful death that the father filed. What doesn’t make sense is the jury being deadlocked on the higher charge but finding him not guilty on the lesser charge. They couldn’t decide if he committed manslaughter but could decide that he didn’t commit negligent homicide? Even his lawyers couldn’t believe this would happen and that’s why they were requesting a mistrial.
