Actually they are, none of the original members are still in it except one guy who became a raging magat and replacements that he has picked.
They’ve interviewed the guy multiple times about this on TMZ. This doesn’t seem to align with what I’ve seen but I’m on my phone and can’t find a link right now.
He originally opposed the use of the song in rallies, but Trump had an agreement with the record label so he could legally use the song and there was nothing the guy could do about it. That’s why it’s odd to see this.
Double checked my sources; “raging magat” may be a mischaracterization and I retract that. But they are willingly going along with it, no pressure from the label and are trying to say their songs were never gay in any way. He also admits he’s made a few more million dollars from YMCA since it’s become a conservative talking piece and used in rallies.

Can’t remember the name of the club, but heard about it in a podcast last week. They name someone similar to “grand wizard” in a business group for wealthy southern fucks. I just noticed on my calendar that Inauguration Day is a “regional holiday”. People get a day off for this, but not to vote?
