I absolutely love that this is a comm and old strips show up on my feed ❤️

I always thought a week strip could have been him with Max while mom and dad had to go out of state for something (funeral on mother’s side maybe?) and Max trying to deal with a kid in a city in a bachelor pad but also like, taking him to tourist things and seeing them from a kids view.

Mom’s “Well…” at the end always fucking killed me about this strip. For once she’s considering Dad’s position seriously.

And then Max got on TWA flight 400, and never appeared in the strip again.
