resistance doesn’t look like this, i watched donald trump and the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff walk through a peaceful protest while they were being gassed and beaten to a church he’d never been to, to hold up a bible he’d never read. real resistance will only begin once we’ve been hurt enough to start taking out railroads and airports.

      Are you… gatekeeping resistance?

How does this make sense to you? There’s worse things happening so nope, not good enough, let’s all go home?

This is not what solidarity looks like. If we don’t start there, we kinda lost already - and they know this. And so do you.

yeah, you’re right, after i posted my two comments i blocked this sub, i can’t deal with the weakest of weaksauce “we really got em this time boys, just you wait and see, hey let’s protest the jews some more in support of islamofascist terrorists that should turn out the vote” i’ve been suffering these last 4 years just watching the absolute corruption of intelligent effective resistance, i can’t deal with navel gazing nothingburgers that convince people they’re doing something, while actively fucking losing everything because they didn’t want to be bothered to vote, so i’m taking myself out of seeing this bullshit on my feed again

Sorry, refusing to be fired because the president said so is resistance.

Banality of evil begins when people just follow marching orders without question.

well, they are throwing a spanner in the works by doing everything exactly by the book and it kinda reminds me of the CIAs Simple Sabotage Field Manual 😄 if they manage to do this for 4 years, they could turn out less awful than expected.

Trump and his whores ain’t here to govern, they are here to do corruption.

So theorically these offices can make their lives very uncomfortable… Which they should do…

The bigger questions why were they permitting corruption prior to Trump and that’d when you realize that either they were not willing or not able to do their jobs. So time will tell, but I am gonna press X to doubt.

This is resistance. As long as the IGs still exist, they can make life more difficult for the administration. To get rid of them properly, a new law repealing the 2022 amendments would need to be written and signed. That takes time. If the administration through dirty tricks just bars them from work, then they get sued, and it will go to SCOTUS. That also takes time. At this point, taking their time slows their agenda. The administration is trying to use a shock and awe strategy to push changes through as fast as possible, and slowing it down detracts from that strategy and hurts them. It’s a death by a thousand cuts strategy.
