I’m playing with challenges so no special plants Spawn in any hidden gardens. If the door is hidden you know it is a hidden garden but I completely forgot if it was originally hidden. So is there a way to differentiate the two? I may have to look into the source code to even figure it out, if no one has an answer.

    Which challenges? As far as I’m aware, with Barren Land you get no plants at all, anywhere, so the gardens will always be empty, hidden or not.

      youre correct, which is why i asking if theres another method to differentiate secret vs non secret for the sake of ensuring i find all hidden rooms in an area.

        Your best bet is probably to check out the wiki section on floor generation for the details on hidden rooms.
