There’s a story or two there. What’s weird is there are multiple photographs of what we might call the front as if the photographer couldn’t really make sense of it all.

This:

A detached house situated on Barrington Road via walk way beside house number 2B

Plus the map suggest it is here on Google Maps, tucked between the houses on the road and the railway line. Which probably explains the lack of windows.

It’s currently rented? Jesus, it should be illegal to be renting a slum like that full of mold >:|

And it probably is, but I’m sure that doesn’t stop the scumbag landlords

People go in. Meat and used clothes come out. No windows for better soundproofing.

I’m more shocked at the price. For that horrible “house” in that terrible state, directly near a railway. Don’t even wanna know what a nice house in a nicer area might cost in London.

That isn’t the price, just an auction guide price - it may go for a lot more.

Might still be the cheapest house of its size in London though.

what the…jeez. That’s even…wow. WHY? I wouldn’t want to live in that house FOR 200.000, despite PAYING it. Sure, it might be London, but…is it really worth so much to live there?!

Or does the average McDonalds-employee in London make 5000 after taxes? Then it would be okay, but i just kinda doubt it.

I hope this comes up on Homes Under the Hammer. “Plenty of potential here for someone wanting to expand their rental portfolio! Seems to be a slight issue with damp…”

The walls also look like they’re letting water in, which is why you can see the cinderblock pattern on the walls.

The cracked kitchen tile is also… Interesting. The floor is either super jacked up or the tile was installed horribly wrong to be able to shatter like that.
