      Interesting, compared to “customer service“

      That way would allow it to mean

      service to the company
      

      that happens to be

      Used to do this selling alcohol at the gas station. Most of them love it, every once in a while though one forgot their ID and now you’re in a weird spot: deny the sale, or tell them you were just being nice and they’re clearly over 40.
