    Assuming the courts still exist this should be excellent news for his lawyers. The government doesn’t usually just outright state an illegal rationale for their actions.

      Honestly, I would be 0% shocked if ICE just completely ignores the court order and already has a deportation flight scheduled with him on it.

        I’d be pretty shocked - I’d be less shocked if Trump signed an executive order to do so but I’d be amazed if anyone in ICE outside the director decided to legally expose themselves that much with Trump’s history of not defending people who are no longer useful to him.

        A little fish bureaucrat violating a court order without being ordered to do so would open them up to a world of pain and liability that would probably have international repercussions for that individual.

        Shits absolutely going to pot but Trump and Musk have generally been the ultimate architects.
