    You know what, you’re right. The university should only withhold or cancel their academic studies if the student was first found guilty through trial of violent protesting (or otherwise illegal forms of protesting). Otherwise the university shouldn’t have the authority to withhold it from them.

      Good idea! Let’s take their high school degree too, while we’re at it. Maybe revoke citizenship? Let’s see what else we can think of

      Dropping the /s, this is a form of double punishment which is or at least should be illegal (not from the US, so I don’t know local laws). If someone without a university degree commits a crime, they should get the same punishment.

      I think you’re missing the point… Political actions after they’ve received a degree should be irrelevant to said degree.
