      I am shocked and horrified, as a lover of sloppy joes. I think a lot of people just haven’t had good sloppy joes, and so don’t have a good reference.

        Ngl, I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad sloppy joe. Some that were more just edible than really enjoyable, but it’s hard to mess up browned beef with spiced tomato sauce.

        But, yeah, you make a sauce yourself, really dial in the spice mix, and it can be next level good, waaaaay better than your school cafeteria joe.

        I respectfully dis-disagree, sir.

        Legit though, what’s not to like, if you eat meat at all?

        Meaty goodness, tomato sweet tanginess, the kick of spices.

        I mean, it is essentially chili on a bun, just more tomato focused. But isn’t that a good thing?

            Fair enough!

            Though, on a practical side, I know a guy that eats all sandwiches with a knife and fork for that reason. Even grilled cheese!
