      Russia wouldn’t admit defeat even if Zelensky was giving interviews on the Red Square right now. The only way they stop is if their government ceases to exist and the propaganda falls silent.

            concentrated power in the hands of ANY single authority is bad news for the entire species… shit’s gonna turn out how it turns out and I won’t be tempting fate any further than i already have >_<

            …not like it’s terribly likely i’ll live to see it. Pretty sure the venn diagram representing civilians who resisted nazi occupation with lethal force vs the civilians who survived is very thin sliver of overlap if any exists at all, and I’m honestly not sure if I’d rather be emotionally psychologically and spiritually dead from complicity with abject evil OR ALTERNATIVELY just in the literal sense by punitive execution by the rampant tyranny of the state…

      Historically speaking this is kind of the problem with fighting Russia. You can kill so many more of them than they kill of you and then they just keep coming.

        They are also extremely competent in turning conquered populations into meat squads. With centuries of experience. Which should terrify anyone sitting on the far side of conquered countries.
