I dunno why he hasn’t returned to Russia. His family moved to Canada to flee Russia, and he’s extremely rich, yet refuses to go back?

Never made sense to me moving to a country that lifts you out of poverty, and then you live in said country while saying how bad it is and how good your old poverty was.

That means nothing. It costs like $199 to self publish a book, and nothing if you so ebook-only

He’s rich? Then why can’t the fuck he fund ML then, so not a single cent donated to lemmy would be used to fund propaganda instance. Shouldn’t be a problem for him, he’s a communist after all.

Last I checked Russia was getting their ass handed to them by a much smaller and supposedly less equipped nation

I think they’re just riding off the high of a couple of wins Russia scored the other week and declaring it as a “total victory” LMAO

Really weird that “winning” looks like oil refineries and weapons depots and manufacturers in their own country blowing up every other day. Would hate to see what losing looks like for Russia.

Russia doesn’t win. They sacrifice their citizens in the thousands to “win”. They are inferior but have larger numbers and lower morals and don’t care how many die for putler. In that sense yes they will “win”. Theyre forced to. No decent nation would do this.

Buddy was claiming 8 months ago that Pokrovsk would be taken in the “near future” and the Kursk incursion would buy no more than a few months… Even with North Korean troops stationed in Kursk helping them reduce the need to split troops, Russian forces still haven’t made it to Pokrovsk yet.

      He said:

it’s not able to produce its own weapons

Ukraine is probably at the forefront of the world at this point in terms of producing combat drones.

They depend on the West for intelligence support, missiles and anti-air and the high-tech kit of the 20th century, and raw mass of ammunition. They’re far from self-sufficient. But they are also set up to be a weapons-production powerhouse in the future if they survive the war in some independent form.

Edit: Also, Russia is outspending Ukraine+allies roughly ten to one in this war. They like to whine as if it is cheating for anyone to give Ukraine any help at all, as if the West is just propping up Ukraine with raw money power, but all the aid is doing is reducing that ratio down from 20-to-1 which it would be, to 10-to-1. The money level spent on the war is not the reason why they’ve been losing.

Says the country using north Korean and Iranian weapons and soldiers.
