I think their biggest failure was that they were incompetent and didnt properly direct their attacks like the healthcare CEO shooter. Terrorism is just a very flexible label. There are lots of people in history that were technically terrorists, but we still consider them heroes. Generally killing innocent people that dont actually match your groups target criteria is pretty dumb tho yeah.
“It’s only terrorism if the other side is doing it” is hardly an attitude exclusive to tankies.
