“I’m always right Billy … so if I say you did it … you have to agree with me”

    “But I didn’t do it”

“That’s called lying Billy … and resisting arrest”

Even if you don’t talk to them they might break into your house and shoot you in the face anyway because they are incompetent at finding correct addresses.

      Don’t talk to the police.

      Good luck with that.

In authoritarian countries, you choice is either accept a “plea deal” and publicly apologize for your act of picking quarrels and provoking trouble or gulag for the rest of your life.

The US is no longer a Democratic country, 5th amendment rights don’t apply anymore.

Don’t think you can be a “tough guy” or be a revolutionary, most of us (including me) wouldn’t last 5 minutes of torture.

You’re doing the regime’s work for them. “Don’t resist citizen, there’s nothing you can do when we come for you.”

The point is not to “not resist”, the point is to, not openly resist. Its the “don’t talk to the police” thing isn’t a good tactic. You should talk and lie to convince them you are just an ordinary citizen who is apolitical, not a dissident.

The resistance movement must go underground. Carry poison pills and you have to be ready to die if your identity have been discovered as a revolutionary. Because if you get captured alive, you likely will rat out your allies due to the torture.

Because if you get captured alive, you likely will rat out your allies due to the torture.

This is based on the assumption that torture works, which again, is doing the regime’s work for them. It doesn’t. People under torture will say anything and everything, make up anything their captors want to hear, which means the torturers aren’t actually going to get useful information. You don’t have to “hold out” against the torture, you just go insane and anything they get out of you is gibberish.

I recommend reading Shock Doctrine, torturers are great at completely destroying people and ruining them for the rest of their lives, but that’s it. There’s nothing left after that. It’s a fate worse than death. Definitely don’t get taken alive.

The resistance movement must go underground.

USAmericans need to study Palestinian resistance and Israeli colonial occupation. Gaza is coming.

When I was like 7 I was having a meltdown because foster care sucks, and emergency services was called. The fire department got there first and realized that the easiest way to deal with my was to wait for me to run out of juice, then the cop came and tried restraining me. That idea was ended pretty damned quickly when I head butted him until I split my own skin and tried to jack his taser to “Zap his nuts off”. After that the cop joined the fire department in making bets on how long till I either injured myself too much or ran out of juice, the cop won because apparently I impressed him enough to think I could go for nearly 5 more hours straight.

I think back on that and thank my ancestors for being so pale I can work as a high visibility reflective surface and the fact the cop was surprisingly chill even though I busted his nose up.

Remember Billy, I can invoke qualified immunity but you’re not qualified as immune to arbitrary arrest unless you’re rich and never speak out against fascism

I would not be surprised if this is an actual page from a actual children’s book. Conservatives have been propelling themselves in the children’s media space since Trump lost the 2020 Election.
