I started doing squats for my knees. They still pop but no pain in years. Bonus: sexy quads.

People weirdly brag about their constant back and knee pain all the time. Like…baring rare genetic problems thats because you live a sedentary life with little to no exercise. Thats not a flex…

I am trying to appreciate my healthy knees right now like how you wish you appreciated a clear nose when you’re sick but it’s not working

My right knee cracks every time I straighten my leg.

Mine cracks every time I bend it. Together we could be unstoppable!

By unstoppable do you mean knees that never stop cracking?

Yoga is great, I did it throughout uni to help my back problems but stopped cause I graduated and it’s no longer cheap. I really should get back into it.

Which is why I should get back into it.

My uni had a yoga class that worked out to like 2 dollars a session so it was cheap to try and I really enjoyed it. I like going to classes but I don’t want to/can’t afford to pay the prices of studios so I fell out of it after uni a couple years ago. I know there’s a lot of good yoga channels on YouTube, just haven’t gotten around to picking it back up.

Tai chi, my people. It’s often thought of as an old person’s activity, but it’s great to start young to keep yourself feeling young.

Cries in 3 ligament surgeries on the same knee by the age of 27. 34 now. Finally understand Newton’s first law of motion. You can’t replace your body people. Stay active, doesn’t have to be the gym everyday, but stay active and be conscious of what you put in your body.
