      I don’t particularly care for the perspectives of the fundamentally disgusting, the same way I wouldn’t really care about the culinary opinions of a cannibal.

      The funny thing about art and perspectives is that they’re really not in short supply. You can afford to be pretty choosy with who you want to let hang out around you; that extends to say, immediately banning hexbear users on sight because they’re assholes the same way you could viciously dismember ban anyone who posts fascist shit.

        The funny thing about art and perspectives is that they’re really not in short supply.

        But GOOD art IS in short supply, and I’m strongly of the opinion that as long as the artist is dead or otherwise can no longer benefit from the popularity of their work, it is our duty, as art appreciators, to appreciate said work. o7

          There’s a reason his stories are so description-heavy, lmao. It seems like half the time there’s not a single human interaction within them.

              He did correspond a lot, like a lot, and he also travelled the US several times (despite his poverty) where he met up with many of his correspondents.
