I wonder how often he’ll wear the armor, and if it emboldens him to make any stupid decisions about where he goes

I look forward to the North Korean news outlets explaining that he’s only wearing it as a show of respect to Russia. Un’s natural bullet-deflecting force field (which he also invented) will ensure that the gift will be protected from any harm that might come to it while in storage or in a display case somewhere.

“This is a body armor with protection zones for the chest, shoulders, throat and groin, and it is much lighter than its known analogs,”

Based on this description probably essentially never. Most regularly worn armor covers less area, if someone like Kim was going to daily drive a vest he’d probably go for something with shoulders, throat, and crotch coverage.

Even the lightest best is heavier than nothing.

I wouldn’t trust that North Korean bulletproof vest, Vlad. Please wear the bulletproof vest, Vlad.

      He was.

As Kim left, the governor of the far eastern Russian region of Primorye gave him a bulletproof vest and a set of drones, Russian state news agency TASS reported.
