Coolest part is you could pay for this and provide healthcare for all your citizens.

Fuck you could continue to pay everything you’re paying and* save money with a proper healthcare system.

      And that’s just healthcare.

Your issues aren’t not having enough funds, it’s a lack of politicians who want to improve your quality of life.

But won’t you think of the poor oppressed billionaires who own the weapons development and production who will have to suffer through 0.000021% reduction in profit if you were to STEAL their money by doing reprehensible things like feeding the starving, housing the homeless, and caring for the sick?

What are you, some kind of degenerate who likes to HELP PEOPLE?

In case anyone is still confused, fuck the rich, vote for people who want to help those who need help, volunteer and/or donate to shelters and kitchens if you can.

ITT: People who don’t realize this has been a gift to the US: They can wage war against Russia, the largest nuclear US adversary, on the cheap, without risk to American lives or running afoul of the UN or NATO.

I wonder if this is related to Poland stopping sending weapons to Ukraine.

Of course it is, and very frustrating for them to put that in the line to force assistance to them

But, cool, more money coming back to US companies, even if it is a bit circular

This is the best summary I could come up with:

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Biden administration announced Monday that it is offering a $2 billion loan to Poland, which has been a hub for weapons going into Ukraine, to support the ally’s defense modernization.

The U.S. government is also providing Warsaw up to $60 million for the cost of the loan in Foreign Military Financing (FMF) which would support “urgent procurements of defense articles and services from the United States,” the State Department said.

Poland has been a staunch supporter of Ukraine since Russia’s full-scale invasion of the country, handing over large numbers of its own tanks, fighter jets and other equipment.

It has been undergoing a process of modernization to replace what it gave away, much of which was based on old Soviet technology, putting in orders with U.S. and South Korean defense companies.

Amid the spat Poland’s Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said his country was no longer sending any more weapons to Ukraine.

Analysts noted that Poland has already in fact given Ukraine most of what it has to give, and the statement was made ahead of a Polish election and did not mean much.

The original article contains 339 words, the summary contains 187 words. Saved 45%. I’m a bot and I’m open source!

I’m just sayin… maybe Poland’s rhetoric about Ukraine lately has more to do with distracting the electorate from the Law and Justice party Cash for Visas scandal. It doesn’t seem in Poland’s interest to let a neighbor like Ukraine be compromised by the greatest strategic threat to Poland, and they and the Baltic states have the most to lose if Russia gets a further foothold in Eastern Europe. Domestic politics needs to stop at the border.

        1. Nah.

        2. Poland is currently in election again and they are super bitchy about everything.

        3. This will support Piss (dictatorship party)

As an LGBT+ person, the fact that Poland has “LGBT-free” zones is appalling, so I’m a little sus about it. But hey, military industrial complex go brr, right?

It’s a loan, that means Poland will pay back all of that plus interest, and will spend it purchasing our equipment, giving jobs Americans.

Polish army is flash modernizing as we speak. Koreans also offered loans for jets, SPGs, tanks (and so on and so on) and also for nuclear reactors. I don’t think why it seems unusual for you

Its bad because its Poland and their government is at best questionable and furthermore currently in propaganda mode for elections. Also their liquidity is basically a solid.
