This one predates Reddit, and I will use it long after Lemmy.

    No, I’ve changed it.

My reddit name became known to a couple of my friends during the 10 years I was there and I want the total anonymity again.

I typically change my username every few months, so no. Can’t get attached to any one online identity.

Went on a streak of switching usernames because there were people who had nearly the same username, and coined this one up like 3 years ago and settled with it since. Pretty much use this everywhere except for school and Reddit.

I made one reminiscent to my old username but figured I’d do a fresh start with a new account.

I considered it, but I liked the idea that I could actually pick something short and (semi)sweet instead.

Plus, new start and all that.

I am using the same username, though not the same display name (as most of these don’t have a display name option). Only fitting.

    I updated.

I changed my username that I use on most things about 6 years ago. But I’ve been on reddit for 12, so it had the old one.

Yep! I use it all across the Internet, not just on Reddit

Yes and no… in my confusion I ended up with three logins, only one of which is my old username. But I like the sh.itjust.works instance on Lemmy, so I’m sticking with this one. Mrs Doyle is my spirit animal anyway. There’s always time for a nice cup of tea.
