He is. The guy has published an absolutely preposterous number of books and has at least one out this year. They also did a Fear Street netflix series somewhat recently, last year I think.

That was a great film trilogy. Definitely on my list for stuff to watch again this month

I had no idea those were RL. No wonder why I like them so much. One of the coolest things I saw come out of Netflix.

I’m sorry what?! Well fuck, with those plus the new movie I gotta get caught up. Also, is the new movie Goosebumps RL?

E: it is based on Goosebumps by our spooky bed time boi.

Was that based on a more adult (but still young) reading level? The name sounds familiar and I grew up on RL Stine until I found the deluge of books set in the forgotten realms (Dungeons and Dragons setting, for clarity, not written by Stine)

Its not the wrong unit, we just forgot how to update it and its working well enough. Also bite me I dont want to deal with decimals to know the tempeture on a more accurate level.

Various groups in the US have tried to convert and it failed because… There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the current system and very, very little to be gained by switching.

Also if the US actually switched, what would all the people who comment and complain about it on the Internet do with all of that free time? Get a hobby? Or start lobbying the whole world to switch to Kelvin?

I dont know anyone who uses decimal when they use celsius, and almost everyone I know uses celsius.

Well my cars Celsius setting certainly does. Fucking things weird though so IDK.

I also realized my american appliance do this same when I try to set them to celsius (nest etc). I guess that is where this unfortunate misconception comes from.

The cover is related to the story, but I believe this cover was also used for a three book anthology which included other stories in addition to “Say Cheese and Die”. The main character acquires a camera that either predicts the future or causes bad things to happen… he takes this picture of his family at a BBQ and then die in a car accident or something.

Next summer is going to be fun if El Nino pattern holds. It would mean that this year with heat domes, forest fires and floods was just the preview and next year is the main event.

It’s going to be 102 here on Friday and we’re taking Christmas family pictures that afternoon.

    This is fine.

Snow,…that’s that white stuff we used to have back in the 90s, right?

I’m in Southern NJ…and I’m moving down to Miami next week…it’s more humid here than it is there somehow (like 90-100% here with a 65F dew point vs about 75% there with a 73F dew point) WTF. At least the places down there are new and built for the heat and humidity, the place I’m in is over a hundred years old. My bedroom right now is about 75% relative humidity because the window AC is poorly sealed.

IT TAKES A LOT OF EMOTIONAL MATURITY TO ADMIT THAT YOUR FAMILY OF ORIGIN ISN’T PERFECT. I ADMIRE THAT LEVEL OF INTROSPECTION.

IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU’RE CRANKING THE HAWG OF LIFE BROTHER; MAY IT CRACK YOU BACK IN RETURN!
