The Vietnamese people elected Ho Chi Minh and resisted colonialism. The afghan people resisted colonialism at every turn. The American empire didn’t seem to hold either land, just to turn it over to an allied government.

And most importantly, when something like this happens, there are at least attempts to apply stricter regulations or other means necessary to prevent it from happening again, while the USA doesn’t do shit.
