What is the stupidest thing you’ve heard someone say that they were 100% serious about?

    By0z • 2h

“Blueberry muffins you buy premade don’t have any blueberries in them. Blueberries cost too much. They dye bees blue because they have the same texture and use them.” He has ‘explained’ it to multiple people multiple times.

“How do we know it wasn’t just ostriches on the radar that triggered Pearl Harbor?” My dude. WHAT.

I was on a date at an art museum. The painting tag said who it was made by the title and made Circe 1600 and she said “do you think the earth was even around back then? You just never really know”

    you just never really know

The bee comment may have been a combination of two facts that get tossed around a lot:

Store bought blueberry muffins often use figs dyed blue

Figs often contain traces of bees that are difficult to remove

I’ve actually only ever heard wasps. Not sure if bees pollinate figs and get trapped too. I guess it’s not a farfetched idea.

I went to a brunch and this woman seriously said “don’t you find it strange that the climate changes started the moment wind turbines appeared?”

Thank you edgeworth for eating a bee and dispelling the taste question.

To be fair, I used to work at a fast food place, and we sometimes had to chop extra legs apart. As in, the chicken had an extra leg on its leg.
