I know its nothing fancy, but it’s a huge step up from the no-name, no-info stone I picked up from a restaurant supply shop years ago. I’ll keep y’all posted on my adventures.

    Ehh, a lot of the old r/sharpening crew fled to the r/chefknives discord. But it’s fairly dead in terms of the forum section.

      Yup. About to take it on the road with me for a weekend trip. I cannot tolerate a dull chefs knife even for a weekend.

        Huh. Learned something new. I don’t use sharpening stones much, so I have never used one enough to need a flattening stone. Had no idea such a thing even existed.
