  • I mean as much as I really hate the “it’s just been a small new project” excuse it is true. I wouldn’t say “Lemmy doesn’t care” as much as it’s not super mature. Now I could be wrong and the creators could go off the deep end. I’m also not saying these privacy concerns aren’t necessarily valid. I think that it’s reasonable to not want to use Lemmy because of these, I just don’t think it’s inherently malicious.

  • Not only do I agree with the comments talking about corruption, but I also just think that would slow fediverse adoption to a crawl. I’m 100% not going to sign up for something that costs money even if I could get it back. It seems like too much of a hassle and potential for losing money. It also seems like it may make it even harder for the less tech literate people to sign up.

  • These formulations are dairy-identical on a molecular level but without allergens or other unfavorable attributes.

I don’t think the article mentioned it and I’m not really familiar with the science, so I’m somewhat confused about this comment in the article. Does this mean that people who are allergic to casein itself can eat their new formula, or is this just a weird way of saying people who are allergic to lactose and similar things can eat products with this casein?
