I think it depends on the person. I’m usually fine with it but I know people who would be out of commission for two days after a single Doritos locos taco.

Yeah, I had never understood why people were so upset about Meta joining the fediverse but after reading that I do agree that there is a lot of damage it could cause.
Have you heard of the establishment known as Taco Bell? It should check all of your boxes.
Yeah without knowing anything else about the world, hiding and guarding seem like the best options.
I do all that AND I don’t feel bad for making fun of them.
I mean as much as I really hate the “it’s just been a small new project” excuse it is true. I wouldn’t say “Lemmy doesn’t care” as much as it’s not super mature. Now I could be wrong and the creators could go off the deep end. I’m also not saying these privacy concerns aren’t necessarily valid. I think that it’s reasonable to not want to use Lemmy because of these, I just don’t think it’s inherently malicious.
It’s a physical necessity at this point.
Wow! This is super cool! What else have you grown there beside watermelon?
Yeah I agree, Lemmy needs to be it’s own thing and not just a Reddit hate platform. But so far the experience has been great.
Oh yeah I 100% agree with the base building aspect too. Especially when someone has a base advertising “free copper” or whatever. The low probability of finding stuff like that makes the game great.
Not only do I agree with the comments talking about corruption, but I also just think that would slow fediverse adoption to a crawl. I’m 100% not going to sign up for something that costs money even if I could get it back. It seems like too much of a hassle and potential for losing money. It also seems like it may make it even harder for the less tech literate people to sign up.
Yeah I’ll agree with No Man’s Sky here as well. While sandbox type games aren’t my favorite (I do find the expeditions fun though) the amount of procedural generation is really cool.
Thanks for the response! I figured it was mostly trying to sensationalize it like you said but I just wanted to double check! I know someone with a pretty bad casein allergy so I’ll make sure to have them get help from an allergist beforehand if they want to try this.
These formulations are dairy-identical on a molecular level but without allergens or other unfavorable attributes.
I don’t think the article mentioned it and I’m not really familiar with the science, so I’m somewhat confused about this comment in the article. Does this mean that people who are allergic to casein itself can eat their new formula, or is this just a weird way of saying people who are allergic to lactose and similar things can eat products with this casein?
You can actually use a pressure cooker?! A lot of the things that I had read said that you could not (probably wanting to sell me some sponsored pressure canner or something). What you said makes sense though so I may have to give it a try! Thanks a lot!
I always wondered whether these teams made a lot of money or not. This makes me wonder too whether these massive esports tournaments, like CSGO majors, make a lot of money or if they’re in the same boat? I’d assume they’d have to if they’ve been going on for this long with big prize pools but I’d apply that same logic to esports orgs too.
That’s exactly my reason too! I’ll get fruit from trees but I need the steady supply of elixirs.
So far it seems I’m the only one here who uses a fruit spray to wash their fruit under water. After reading this though I think I want to check the ingredients lol.
Oh, you want some blueberries? Give me an hour I’ll chuck them loose in the dishwasher real quick.
I use Memmy as well, works perfectly as far as I can tell. I started on Mlem but when Lemmy 0.18 came out it stopped working for me. No clue if anyone else had that problem and I just missed seeing it but either way Memmy has been great so far.
