We actually have off-road diesel for this. Alberta also used to have “purple gas” but it was halted in 1999 due to rampant abuse. We could do something like that, but it hasn’t worked historically.

Agreed, you would think polling or simulations would have been the first order of business rather than mucking around with in use roadways.

That’s exactly what was happening.

This was a controlled depressurization (they used a release valve and let the pressure creep in). This shows what the pressure can do over time. Now image that be happening instant because the structure holding back the pressure failed all at once.

Going go against the grain here, but I really really enjoyed this movie. I think it’s themes are specific (immigration, family responsibilities, class), but it dealt with them in a very accessible and way. It might be over some younger viewers heads, but as a grown adult I loved it. It’s a great romance and perfect movie for couples as well.
