    Chic tracts. Serious propaganda aimed at convincing 80s children that they will be going to vividly imagined hell if they don’t accept Jesus as their lord and savior. I’m not ashamed to say my 12 year old self had a moment of doubt.

      This one is absolutely a shitpost drawn by Danny Bulanadi as indicated by the artist name on the desk in the bottom panel.

      So I did more googling and it’s apparently from an abridged Bible called Truth For Youth, hence the book in the comic. After drawing comics in the 70s and 80s he went to Kingstone at some point. It’s a Baptist fundamentalist style comic publisher. Can’t say for sure if it was money or passion that drove that move.
