I’d like to subscribe to 1930’s animal facts please.
Dammit, you said animal facts! Whatever, I’m still leaving this here:
- Women suffering from hysterics have to be kept in an asylum with regular administration of cocaine and lead tinctures
- Brown and black people have no souls!
- If you get sick from stagnant water, you can bleed all the ghosts out
Don’t forget to apply vibrators to the clitoris for female hysterics.
… I’m feeling hysterical.

Hey, that picture is a Venn Diagram.
At 12 hours with only 8 up votes. This is officially the most underrated comment on all of Lemmy.
Not sure I understood.
I found it clever that ephrin noticed that the last name of the artist happened to be Venn, and called out the picture correctly as a Venn diagram, as in a diagram made by Venn.
Add to that I spent a measurable fraction of a minute searching for the hidden overlapping circles only to eventually discover the pun, I was amused and thought others might have appreciated it more than the paltry 8 up votes received.
Bottom left corner of the sketch. The illustrator’s name is Bill Venn.
Ahh, gotcha.
Over here strokin’ the mole! 😎
I won’t believe it until I see it
it make sense from an adaptation standpoint, hair that could only settle in one direction would make it hard for them to move forward and back in their lil’ mole tunnels. I suspect they evolved a solution to the chafing that would cause.
Just like a shark, a mole is smooth in all directions.
Molly molly mole molly mole
An interesting trait that moles share with sharks.
I have always wondered in which direction I was supposed to pet a mole. Thank you.
