Dammit no, yesterday I woke up with the idea of a knight rider reboot where Kitt is a barely functioning cyber truck, Nic Cage is a 25 year old Michael and the script is 100% AI written.

That is something Elon Musk would come up, except the protagonist is now him AIed over another actor. And of course the bad guys are people infected with the woke mind virus who don’t let white people to call black people the hard-R N-word, trans people using the bathroom, etc.

Is there a single person who would not pay money to watch Nic Cage in a serious role portraying a “cool guy” while speaking in Gen Z slang.

I don’t give a shit about David Hasselhoff, but Knight Rider without Mr Feeney as KITT wouldn’t be the same

Like many other shows, this one was a product of its time and wouldn’t work today.

Renegade (old show featuring Lorenzo Lamas) or Space above and Beyond (which only ran for one season).

Gotta admit, I’d at least give the first episode a chance. It’s unlikely to be worthwhile, but the idea could have potential in the right hands.
