For what good that did, when a federal abortion ban is all but guaranteed at this point.

This but slightly unironically, I have at least a tiny bit of hope that colorado would fight for its citizens

I agree, I just find it blatantly obvious that Republicans have been lying about the “states rights” arguments and will flip the script and impose their federal bans if given the chance.

So did Arizona. But Project 2025 plans to just ban it federally anyway. So it won’t mean shit in the end.

Weed is illegal federally but that didn’t stop states from allowing dispensaries. Maybe it’s different in some way but I’m not sure how it would be.

The federal government, DEA, etc. said they wouldn’t pursue cases in states that legalized it.

They 100% could if they wanted to. And there’s no reason to believe that a new Trump admin would follow through on any promises like that going forwards, if they even made any.

I see. Well I bet acting on either of those things against the laws and wishes of the state would be at least massively unpopular, whatever that counts for anymore.

Wisconsin didn’t vote for Drumph according to the last results. Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Virginia are all wrong on this map.

Virginia voted for Harris. Michigan and Pennsylvania didn’t.

Edit: Maryland also seems to be misrepresented, as they, unsurprisingly, voted for Harris.

Colorado and New Mexico are also unfairly lumped in with the red states on this map.

Edit 2: I find the AP map suspect. Not once since Nixon has the country voted this firmly conservative. I smell foul play with electronic voting machines, especially the ones that don’t provide a paper receipt. Especially since they openly said they were going to hack the voting machines, and Diebold, a company owned by Dick Cheney, makes those voting machines.

Edit 3: Arm yourselves comrades. Crossbows make less noise firing the bolt than hitting your target that is illegally breaking and entering your domicile.

Cops are nothing more than thugs with badges that allow them to kill with impunity. Harlow v Fitzgerald was decided based on slaver lies, not the actual law.

      https://www.nytimes.com/2023/05/15/us/politics/qualified-immunity-supreme-court.html

The law won’t save you now.

Create your local communities, but be careful to ostracize the conservative and neo liberal traitors that will turn you in and destroy your community.

Colorado had nothing to do with this. Harris won by well over 10% here. New Mexico too. Get us out of here, please!

Dividing things by states makes no sense, the only reason it looks like that is because of how the elections work. There is blue and red in every state.

In Neal Stephenson’s Fall, he describes the area of Ameristan where religious fundamentalists have taken over, and all crucify people for things like polyester/cotton blends or being gay.

So yeah, anyway, if you want a lens into the future…
