Most instances have a support community for discussing technical issues with that particular server.
As each instance names these slightly differently, I thought I’d create a thread to collect as many as possible.

Please comment below with equivalent communities and I’ll add them to the list.
I would also recommend that instance admins include a link to their meta/support community in the sidebar of their instance.
On a somewhat related note, do any instance admins still have Reddit accounts they would be willing to reveal here?
I’ve come across many Redditors who are interested in Lemmy but give up after experiencing issues on signup. I think the ability to have instance admins reach out to users on Reddit directly could be a useful tool in reducing the friction of the Lemmy onboarding process.
If you are an instance admin and are comfortable sharing your Reddit username, please do so below.

@[email protected], are you u/LemmyDOTwtf on Reddit? May I include your username in the OP?
Also, would you consider adding a direct link to [email protected] in the instance sidebar?
Yes and sure.
Thanks! Added.
[email protected] is used more than [email protected].
Thanks! Added.

Also, could we consider adding a direct link to [email protected] in our sidebar? (In addition to the links to the “Getting Started” guide and Lemmy Support)

I won’t reveal my main Reddit account, but I just created an alt for the purpose: https://www.reddit.com/user/lemmy-kersploosh/
You can send people my way. I will do my best to help!
- lemmynsfw.com - there’s [email protected] but only mods can create posts. I couldn’t find any direct equivalent to a support comm.
- lemmygrad.ml - [email protected] ; there’s also [email protected] for official content
- lemmy.eco.br - support strictu sensu is done through Matrix, https://matrix.to/#/#lemmyecobr:matrix.org . But there’s also [email protected] to talk about the server.
Thanks! Added.
This honestly show be integrated as part of all UIs. A button to send you to a help forum, preferably one that does not require the user to understand what federation is.
The people who are going to see this list know what they are doing and can navigate the Threadiverse.
Most of the instances have their support community in their sidebars
A surprisingly large fraction of instances do not, as I discovered when compiling this list.
Well done then!

I think that one might be for lemmy.zip users only. @[email protected], could you confirm?
Good point - we don’t really have a space for this. We kind of use !home for most things, and i wouldn’t moderate a post from an external user if there was a technical issue. So !home is probably the best place. (I’ll update the description to reflect)
I will have a think about a support community but home is fine for now :) thanks for checking!
Thanks for the clarification! Added.
