    i think my favorite homestar runner bit is Strong Bad using an exceedingly outdated computer to check emails, because the bit is now 24 years old and the original computer appears to be a riff on the Apple II, which was like 24 years old when the bit started.

      I used to watch those during computer class in middle school. I don’t think computer class is a thing anymore.

      I loved finding all the Easter eggs they’d throw in

        The first computer was the Tandy 400, used till sbmail 44. The name being a clear reference to the Tandy 1000 and maybe the Atari 400. But it has a lot of features of of an Apple 2, such as the monochrome green display, the os being kinda like proDOS, and it making some Mac OS system noises at one point.

        It’s a chimera of influences, but it’s definitely from the late 70s and early 80s
