All I took away from this is that anal sex might be the thing that brings us all together.

It is the “sharing is caring” ideology after all. Can’t fault em for inconsistency.

I call bullshit, according to this I’m economic left and right, while also being authoritarian and libertarian at the same time.

I don’t think the results are intended to be used in the way that you are thinking – it’s not meant to infer one’s political beliefs by their fetish, but to, instead, correlate, on average, fetishes with political beliefs.

i am not very convinced of it’s universality

Oh, yeah, it certainly is not universal; It’s just an average.

There seems to be a rough pattern of people’s kink being the opposite of their ideologies (most notably in AuthRight’s case). I’d argue it’s equally surprising to not find stuff like bestiality in the bottom lib quadrants.

You’d be surprised how little impact being a furry has on someone’s political orientations. People seem to think just because one side accepts a group and another doesn’t, that that group will naturally drift towards supporting that side.

People are far too shortsighted and just plain dumb for that. Just because you’d be first up against the wall doesn’t mean you can’t be a fascist, right?

Keep in mind that it is the results of a study (linked in the description), and is not based on opinion.

study is a stretch… a guy asked a bunch of people

i can tell you right now as someone deep in the pet
play community that its position is entirely incorrect

Ah always good to see this one, it’s a classic. For once I’m horrified by my own quadrant (AuthCenter) as well as my former one (AuthRight).

    Also

the graph has been stretched for greater memability

Based and skewing scientific data for better memes pilled.
