    I love the FN. It looks like it belongs in some cheesy sci-fi movie.

      It’d be admirable in Halo or Destiny. In real life? Yeesh.

      This is the company that made the P90. The F2000 is 20% longer than needed in any two directions.

        Even Halo’s MA5B has less polymer casing than the F2000.

      I don’t really know anything about guns, but most especially this one. Why is the f2000 sealed up in a plastic assembly? Is it for ergonomics or to reduce production costs or something? Sincere question.

        Protection from grit. And because polymers that can resist balistic shock and heat had only very recently been invented by then, and it was “cool” to find a way to make it useful.
