Merz? Defeating anyone? He couldnt even become head of his party while Merkel was still in buissness. Failed 4 times and would gladely sell his grandma if then could get into an advantagouse position

I was trying to learn more about Merz. Seems like he flip-flops between ideals quite a bit. Apparently staunchly anti Russian and hates AfD, but he may change his mind if the wind blows in a different direction.

He doesn’t so much hate AfD as he hates that their existence makes it harder to focus on cutting regulation and giving tax cuts to the rich because they take some of the bigoted traditional voter base away from his party.

Imagine a conservative lobbyist from the early 90s stepping into a time machine and traveling to present day. That’s Merz. His foreign policies are not terrible but he’s trying to undo 30 years of progress at home.

Please, this is the artistic effluence that this form derives its strength from. Note the bold lines and sissonne idiomatic entry of the first panel, into the grande allegre (metaphorically, of course!) of the following two panels. A masterpiece, contrasting the fragile effervesce of military hardware in the last panel with the robust strength of the egos of the politicians in the first.
