      In the unlikely event you’re unaware, half the songs in Doom are MIDI knockoffs of thrash metal hits. Particularly egregious examples: Slayer’s “South of Heaven” and “Behind The Crooked Cross,” Alice In Chains’s’s’ “Them Bones,” the quiet bits of Pantera’s “This Love.”

      Also that moon level was hard as balls.

      Morrowind still has the best version of that recurring theme. Understated and spacious.

    I felt personally attacked calling Shogun 2 old! (implies I’m getting old too lol)

    But seriously, that’s probably my favourite total war game. It is not broken like most TW games and well balanced. There are a lot more variety and flair to it as a game with the avatar system and grooming the generals. The graphics are also beautiful and you could still run it easy enough on a crappy or low spec computer.

      Agreed! I still periodically start up Shogun 2 campaigns. The music plays a part in that
