If there are 20 people in the trolley and 10% of males of fighting age are affiliated with an extremist group, the likelihood that at least one of them is Fuck You Stop Asking Questions

I mean it’s a trolley, only extremist socialists and people who understand mass transit is way more sensible than cars use those so I think that alone qualifies it as a target to the FBI/CIA.

I mean ok maybe some people die who just like commuting to work without the massive headache of maintaining and driving a car, but we can’t let those people stand in the way of progress.

I press the button to launch missile at somebody on the other side of the planet who I know nothing about and have just decided to kill because my boss and their boss and their boss all say this is existentially important to the survival of western democracy.

Satisfied I step out of the shipping crate into the barren Nevada sun.

Yes I said yes I will Yes.

Just strap the blade missile to some missile. Shoot it with a bow or something.

Lol when did “unmanned Areal vehicles” become “remotely manned”. They are not manned that’s the whole fuckin point.

Remotely manned means that there is still a human in control and not a computer

As has been the case for all UAVs of the past and they are still called “unmanned”. Manned used to mean “person on board” and it obviously does not mean that anymore. A remote controlled drone is still unmanned.

Yes they want to differentiate it from a AI controlled drone but it’s a stupid way to do so.

It’s not edgy, it’s realistic and uncomfortable.

      • Literally the only Force that isn’t worse than the US is the EU. As long as they don’t want to step up and take the Mantle, the US “defending its Interests” and spreading democratic Values across the globe is the best Thing that can happen.

Do you think that the US defending its interests in Ukraine and helping them is a bad Idea? Or that defending their Interests in Taiwan and helping them is a bad Idea? Or did you think that the US ousting the Taliban and giving Girls an Education and Future was a bad Idea? Or that defending global Shipping from Houthi-Terrorism is a bad Idea?

stop with this edgy “America Bad” Mentality. It is not representative of our world.

It literally says “There is no problem”. All the examples you give are problems. You’re arguing for drone strikes for shits and giggles

Unfortunately, it’s always “defending US interests” which is the problem. Historically, US interests have been counter to strong local independent governments. The US has interests in low cost labor and natural resources. There are still a lot of people in the US gov. that are only incentivised to do the right thing if they get a major perk or kick back from doing it. I like to think that we’re getting more progressive, and stepping away from the abhorrent shit our grandparents did to South/Central America, but then we get shit like trump withholding support from Ukraine unless they are willing to smear his political rivals. Then it becomes clear that there is still a very influential “old guard” in the government that prevents the US from actually defending the welfare of the many from the benefit of the few.

You mean defending Israeli shipping from sanctions, in order to support the genocide in occupied Palestine? What kind of answer did you even expect to this one?

It’s not a phase, it’s based in reality. Take Vietnam and Iraq for example and the civilian casuilities that came out of that. And oh of course we lied about weapons of mass destruction.

Or the many, many coups that the USA was directly or indirectly involved in, like in nearly every South and Central American country (Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Nicaragua, Haiti, Panama, etc), or the “humanitarian intervention” of Yugoslavia, or any entry in that very big list of atrocities they committed.

Just because there are “worse” countries forcefully imposing their wants, that doesn’t make USA good, something that other poster fails to acknowledge.

Some people have to believe they’re the good guy so badly that they’ll kill hundreds of thousands of people to prove it.
