      It truly is the GOAT. All the other ones look bougie and out of touch by comparison. Toyota Hilux with Cold War-era gun screwed on gets shit done.

      You sir are in luck. The Daimler Ferret can be had for about US$40k and is street legal in many places, though I expect the maintenance cost is prohibitive.

      There are many variants, with and without the mounted turret:

      It’s small enough (tiny, really) that you can park it in a 1-car garage, and they were widely sold so there’s actually a lot of them on the market. You can literally have this as a personal vehicle, for less than the average US annual income.

        i just want a BRDM man, they look great, are amphibious, have their own tire inflation system, cabin filtration, 4 big wheels and 4 small ones on a chain drive system

        Looks like I could buy one for $55k (AU) - would be kind of fun to have actually and cheaper than a lot of new 4wds. Pity some wowsers had issues with it running around with a machine gun, I feel like that’d reduce traffic problems…
